I fully agree with this tweet by Rashid Abdi, Horn of Africa Conflict Resolution and Policy Specialist based in Kenya, about the Amhara Fano terrorist group. The United States and European powers long tolerated and looked the other way, even supported the Fascist Amhara terrorist groups in their jurisdictions , due to the mythology that Ethiopia is “a christian country” and the belief that it is the creation of the West in service of the West. The truth is Fano terrorists are more dangerous and vicious than Bokuharm, Al Shabab and Islamic State combined! It is time to designate Fano and groups supporting and arming it in the United States and Europe as terrorist networks.
